HIGH SCHOOL HISTORY TEACHER

Full-time or part-time position from the beginning of Term 1 2025 (or as soon as possible thereafter)

The successful applicant must meet the following criteria:

  • Primary teaching subject: History for Grades 10 – 12
  • Prior teaching experience, with at least one year of teaching Matric History
  • A secondary teaching subject in English would be preferred, with experience teaching English at FET level
  • Appropriate qualification (PGCE with a first degree in English and/or History; or B Ed, FET level)
  • SACE registration
  • Interest in and willingness to learn Waldorf pedagogy and about ethos of the school
  • Caring and enthusiastic, with a dedication to children and their development
  • Able to work well with our dynamic community of staff, learners and parents
  • Willingness to actively contribute to the collective management of the high school

ARTISTIC WOODWORK INTERMEDIATE PHASE SCHOOL TEACHER

Michael Mount Waldorf School, situated in Bryanston Johannesburg, is currently looking for an ARTISTIC WOODWORK INTERMEDIATE PHASE SCHOOL TEACHER

The successful applicant must be: –

  • SACE Registered
  • Have experience teaching artistic woodwork.
  • Open-minded and creative in teaching methods
  • Interested in joining a highly individual faculty, working towards self-development within the Waldorf ethos.
